Exherbo Distribution
February 8th, 2009
gave it a try and runs well..
runs on its own vanilla kernel- can update with paludis (gcc4.3.3)
couldn’t find out how to add repositories so that i can install xorg or kde
i like exherbo
You want to read http://paludis.pioto.org/configuration/repositories/index.html then.
HTH, Ingmar.
@Ingmar Vanhassel
hm i’ve read it but still no clue,need an example how the repo file for
x11 would look like
You already have a fine example in /etc/paludis/repositories/arbor.conf. Just copy that and change the few settings related to arbor to their x11 equivalents (or whatever repository you want).
@Bryan Østergaard
ah cool i see i will try that ….
a template which i would have just to copy there would be handy
also to avoid typo…
Thanks Bryan i will name my host after you
